Overview

Determine the value of load for which maximum power is transferred. First convert the given circuit to its Thevenin equivalent. Then connect a load equal to the resistance of the circuit. In this case the Rth is 7.5 ohms and a load of the same value is to be connected. Measure the power using P=VI and verify with different load resistor values.
